A couple of Layouts

I managed to get a little bit of scrapping done this past couple of days. It's poured here today, so it's been a day in...though it cleared up enough at about 6 o'clock, to let me get Boo out for a decent walk.


First off, I scrapped our Easter treats, for an 'Easter Colours' Challenge over at .Scrap-Friendzy

I used some of the new 'goodies' that arrived from Stop and Craft last week. The background paper and pinwheels are from AMERICAN CRAFTS (Hello Sunshine) and the diecut sheet and journalling tags are MAKING MEMORIES (Dilly Dally). The gorgeous butterfly came in the March  Kit from Scrap-Friendzy

I spent part of today checking out blogs and, after visiting Rene's Blog went off to check out the Let's Scrap site.

I discovered they are having a month of special challenges for NSD....and decided to join up! I managed to get my first challenge done today. It was actually Rene's challenge...a 'Recipe' challenge, part of which was to use a previous LET'S SCRAP sketch. This is the sketch I used (sorry about the quality, but I think you get the drift)...I used the left hand side.

For this one, I used papers from FANCY PANTS (It's Your Day), a mix of Alphas from my stash and the altered, grunge bird was from the April SCRAP-FRIENDZY kit.
