Well, I cheated a little on Prompt 2.....I was trying to kill two birds with one stone, you see! I'm trying not to fall too far behind with the prompts (but I know I will anyway!) and I also wanted to play along with SUSANNE over at SNAPS AND SNIPPETS. Her 'In Good Company' challenge this week was to use 'Making Memories' products......this is where the cheating comes in! Due to my
So instead of choosing random papers from my stash, they are all MM ones....the patterns are 'DILLY DALLY'and the plain one is 'PAPERIE'...oh! and it's 8x8, as it's for my 'A-Z of ME' album, which is on my hitlist to be finished by the end of the year! :
With DH arriving soon (am off to the airport again-I swear my car could get to that place without me!)....and DD on Saturday, I reckon there won't be much scrapping done now till after the weekend.
This was weigh-in day and I put a half pound on :( ........oh well! onward and upwards downwards!!!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
I don't consider it cheating at all, it's "streamlining" the challenges. Love your layout!
ReplyDeletep.s. I had to google what a stone of weight is... congrats on your accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteWell done on your weight loss. It's a huge achievement and definitely one for your Book of Me.
ReplyDeleteCombining the challenges is great when you have other things to do.....glad you finished the jigsaw :0)
That's an amazing loss - you must be so proud of yourself. And don't stress about the odd blip on a pound on here and there, life's for living, not for dieting all the time! Just so long as you get back on the straight and narrow agin you will be fine.
ReplyDeletejigsaws are just too irresistable to leave undone aren't they? Far more important than a bit of housework ;-)

Great page & congrats on your overall weight-loss - that's a great achievement!
ReplyDeleteIt's not cheating - it's multi-tasking :) What a lovely photo of you - and a lovely layout to showcase your fabulous achievement xx
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Mel....and that's a great achievement that definately needed scrapping.
ReplyDeleteWell I hope it's not cheating as I've done something similar! Your page works really well - I love the paper you've chosen for the background. Well done on the weight loss - that takes real determination!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the weight loss! I am following WW online again. I love the mix of papers in your layout.
ReplyDeleteYou look AMAZING!!! You should really update your profile pic to that great photo :-) Well done on the weight loss so far.
ReplyDeleteI know Chipper! I suggested that the first time I saw this photo - it's fabulous you know Alison!
ReplyDeleteAnd, you are not cheating on little bit ... very clever thinking if you ask me!
Congratulations Alison - that's a huge achievement! Hope you are feeling the benefits. Love the page too :D
ReplyDeleteThat's not cheating at all - it's simply smart thinking!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes I think you should celebrate with a new profile pic too. Treat yourself :)
Too funny! Oh, I also loved your jigsaw puzzle. I used to do puzzles all the time; but I haven't done one for years. I should get one out, but I think my hubby would skin me if I drug out something else. He is all but going bonkers with all the baby stuff everywhere. He really is A D D.
ReplyDeleteGreat page Alison - of course, I love that yellow background! Great idea to combine challenges & inspiration anytime you can.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on all the weight loss!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your weight lost so far, don't worry about a little half pound, it could just be that you were wearing different clothes. I'm dieting too, and some weeks you can put 1/2 or 1 pound for no reason even when you've been really good so don't let it dishearten you.
ReplyDeleteHa...ha! I think it's nice to be naughty sometimes! When the cat's away, etc!!! Love the papers you've used. Thanks for the comment on my blog. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Irene x
ReplyDeleteGreat layout! It's great when you can incorporate more than one challenge in one layout! Love the butterflies and dragon flies.
ReplyDeleteThat's not cheating! :) Beautiful layout and I love that photo of you x
ReplyDeleteSounds like some serious multi-tasking going on at your house! Nice colors and design in your layout, very nice.
ReplyDeleteFirst of, congrats on the weight lost and second, I love the background paper and the colors you have chosen for your page!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Alison, you are an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your accomplishment! (I agree with the others, this would make a great profile pic :)

ReplyDeleteLOL @ the cleaning... how true! Does DH read your blog?? Mine does... ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the background paper for this LO!

I have not yet managed to mix manufacturers on my PPP pages. It's just so easy to pull papers together (especially when they're stored that way!)
