I have mentioned before, that it is my eldest niece's 18th Birthday in July...and she has always reminded me that she would like a Scrapbook album of her life so far, from me.
This is the latest page I have made, from her12th Birthday
I cut the doily out with my Silhouette machine and misted it, then applied clear, sparkly nail polish to it... a tip passed on from my lovely friend HELEN over at SCRAP ADDICT...I can't believe how well it works- it's my new favourite technique!!
I truly hope you are having a restful, happy Eater weekend...I go to pick DH up this morning, so my weekend starts then!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
What a fabulous 18th birthday present this will be - wouldn't you just love one of your own? I know I would!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Easter weekend with your family
My Mum is always hinting to me and it is her 70th next year so maybe I need to get started now so that I do not end up rushing and just sticking photos in during May next year :0)
ReplyDeleteGreat LO and Happy Easter x
What a fantastic idea for a birthday present. It's going to be a real memory keeper to cherish in years to come too. Better keep it quiet though or you'll end up doing one for EVERYONE!
ReplyDeleteLove everything about it Alison, your niece will love it too! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI love all the layers and the sparkly flower. I would never of thought of nail pollish!!! I wonderful present. I wish someone had done that for me. I keep asking my mom to stop scrapping my kids and scrap herself or my brother and I. These are stories I really want to know about. I know my own children's stories LOL

Very pretty page - I like the little butterfly nosed up to the flowers. And I might have to steal the sparkly nail polish out of someone's Easter Basket if she doesn't like the shade. Happy Easter to you and yours.

ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful LO. Loved it when I saw it in the gallery!! Love how you used the tickets for your title - so fun! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter! ~ Blessings
