HELLO to having Kirsty and one of her friends from school in residence
HELLO to the washing Kirsty has brought back from Barcelona (she had a few days up there, meeting said friend and taking her to do 'touristy' things)
HELLO to another case which had been left with a friend in Barcelona, but is now sitting in Kirsty's bedroom....even SHE is afraid to open it....she says it's full of 'things'!! I'm thinking on that as 'full of things which I can probably live without, but couldn't be bothered sorting out'!!!
HELLO to saying 'goodbye' to Kirsty for a week or two..she is off to Scotland to help my mum and dad pack up their house..they are moving from their first floor flat to a little bungalow, which will greatly improve my dad's ability to get out and about.
HELLO to taking the girls up to Valencia to fly back to the UK....and maybe factoring in some time for a look around the shops there!
HELLO to trying to get my eating habits back under control...I haven't put any weight on, but neither am I losing any....I am dreadful for eating ice cream over the summer months, but very little else!!
HELLO to getting some scrapping done...I have actually started a layout, but inspiration just seems to disappear in this heat.
Yes, it DID say 36*C/ 96*F at my back door at 10am this morning!
Whatever you're saying 'Hello' to, I hope you're surviving the heat/ cold/ rain/ sun wherever you are.
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
36 degrees at 10am? Phew!
ReplyDeleteP's cousin who has the villa in Denia came for tea last night and she was saying she knows the town where you live and it's not far from their place. I think I need to browse the Easyjet website ;-)
Oh my! I'm not sure I could cope with that heat!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a lovely week planned, well other than the heat. Yikes, that is hot that early in the day!! It is supposed to be cooler here where we live this week. Highs in the low 80's and cool down nicely at night. I say hi to our DS and his wife staying with us for a while. Unfortunate happenings at their apartment with a neighbor and they feel safer here for now. Such a blessing that we have room for them til they get things figured out. ~ Blessings, Tracey

far too hot for me!!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder just where all the kids' washing comes from!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm saying nothing about that heat..lol
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the case story. I left my brother to the airport yesterday and everything he didn't want to take back with him is now sitting in my hall
Gosh that is hot! Good luck with sorting Kirsty's things LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt is no near that hot here, but I took Edwin for a short walk this morning because the humidy was unbearable! Even he was panting!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Alison!
That is HOT! We are oh so familiar with those cases of 'bits',and that washing too. Have fun - at least you can get it dry quickly! x
ReplyDeleteooooh how i'm craving some of that heat at the moment xx have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI know I wouldn't be good in that heat - not one for sitting out in the sun even in the cooler climes of the UK.
ReplyDeleteLucky you, it was already over 100 degrees here by 10 am! :>(
ReplyDeleteI right with you on the weight - no loss, but no gain either, just trying to pull it together when there's no motivation to get out & about in this heat.
Crikey! I'm back in long sleeved te-shirts today!
ReplyDeleteWow - a lot of coming and going in your house!
ReplyDeleteRinda
Oh gosh 36degrees at 10am!!! Now here it is 14degrees, raining and freezing!!! It is actually snowing lightly inland which is practically unheard of... Sounds like you have a busy time coming up with your girl! Have fun with Kirsty!!
ReplyDeleteohhh I'd be scare of that case, even more so having boys lol We are having a break from the heat, it's only mid to upper 80s this week, very nice. I am barely losing pounds but the waist inches are melting away so I'll take that...off to the gym ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm saying 'Hello' to you! Just to prove I haven't forgotten you :) Great to catch up with you a little! xx
ReplyDeleteHello to a lot of comings and goings - don't you just love in when your home has a revolving door and all the kids leave you is a pile of dirty laundry???
