Santa had obviously heard that my camera had gone AWOL and brought me a new one....here a selection of photographs I took throughout the day.
He's been!
Pink fizz, as the in-laws arrive to exchange gifts
Our two girls!
The temperature on the terrace at 1pm!
Out for lunch
Kirsty came home from lunch and cooked a turkey crown, so that there were 'leftovers' for turkey sandwiches at night!!
It was very quiet with just the three of us, but we enjoyed just doing our own thing without worrying about suiting anyone else!
I do hope your own Christmas day was just as enjoyable
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
Leftovers are the best bit!
ReplyDeleteA new camera, what a fantastic Christmas present! Great photos, looks like you really enjoyed the holiday. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI like Kirsty's definition of left overs. Looks like you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteLove that Kirsty had to cook a 'crown' for leftovers - we did that a couple of years ago when we had Christmas dinner at my Mum's. You do need that cold turkey for a turkey and mayo sandwich!Glad you had a happy Christmas together x
ReplyDeleteWe cooked a 'crown' we didn't really need as well....and froze a lot of it for turkey roasts through the year!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a lovely day Alison! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSounds idyllic - I missed turkey sandwiches this year!
ReplyDeleteWhat precious memories!! Have a happy New Year!! ~ Blessings, Tracey

Pleased to hear that you were on Santa's 'nice' list and got that new camera that you needed!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lovely day and hope you have a good new year too x
Yay for the new camera and it took lovely pics!! I usually end up cooking a whole turkey the week after Thanksgiving and after Christmas for the casseroles, sandwiches and soups we love lol
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely. I like the number of crowns I see on people internationally - it's a shame we don't do that here.

Lovely photos - how exciting that you received a new camera! Believe it or not, we had a white Christmas here in Texas & (as always) Robbie spoiled me with lots of gifts.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Alison! It was super HOT here too, reached over 40C. Summer is finally here and it seems to have hit with a vengeance. A new camera sounds exciting. I am glad you had a relaxing day.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful Alison! Have fun with your new camera and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks and sounds like a beautiful Christmas! tfs!
