Page Prompt 2 concentrated on Hidden Journalling: with last Sunday being Mother's Day in the UK, my mind wandered off to the day I became a mum for the first time...and I remembered I hadn't made a page for Stuart's album for some time...a perfect layout for hidden journalling!
When I saw this sketch over at PAPER SECRETS.....
....I reckoned it would work perfectly with the photographs I wanted to use:
the journal tag is attached to that long tab
.....a couple of close-ups:
Hopefully, I'll get some more layouts completed for Miss Smith's class...though not till I get some black ink for my printer- it ran out today!!
Is anyone else still working their way through an online class which is no longer 'live'?
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
you've pretty much kept to the sketch and it looks gorgeous Alison x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely layout Alison x
ReplyDeleteThose colours are so good with your photos! And your journalling is nicely hidden ... Working my way through classes which are no longer 'live'? Always!
ReplyDeleteToo many! I never seem to finish them but I do get something out of them and I look over the prompts etc now and again. Looks great by the way.
ReplyDeleteLovely LO. I think every class I have bought needs catching up on.
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely Alison and good for you trying to work away at the class even though it's now recent. I sure know what that's like. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Alison, sorry it's been a while but I'm still having those issues with blog shut down etc. Anyway - I am here now and have enjoyed the catch up - I LOVED your description of the blogging weekend ... being there for the social aspect - that would be me if I were there too!
ReplyDeleteI'm still doing the class, love the sketch you've used.
ReplyDeleteI haven't made it back to these class prompts yet! Great layout.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful page. I'm very moved by it.
ReplyDeleteSo precious! Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful layout, Alison, and precious photo. I assume these are of your sweet Stuart? xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a great layout - I like how you pulled colors from the color photo.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently working through Something From Almost Nothing - I actually bought it after the live run but just started it last month.
I've got catching up in my classes to do, too.
