I have seen a few bloggers mention it, and have decided that with the forthcoming demise of GOOGLE READER I will give it a try.
SIAN has some good links on her blog today...and I am now attempting the changeover..it should seemingly be painless- time will tell!
If you click on the following link:
Follow my blog with Bloglovin'
you should magically be added to my 'feed'!
Why do I feel I need the luck of the Irish on this St Patrick's day, as I press 'Publish' !
EDITED TO SAY THAT YOU SHOULD IGNORE THE LINK....I HAVE NOW ADDED A 'WIDGET' AT THE TOP OF MY BLOG!.....seems the link is a code to prove you have moved your blog or some such thing...can you tell that I just press buttons without understanding why?!
Hope you've had a good weekend
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
I've got to get on that myself & decide what I'm going to do!
ReplyDeleteUh Oh I clicked the link & got an error message!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about it as well.....but Melissa is right....your link's not working!
ReplyDeleteI got a "not found" error from your follow link as well. I've signed up for Bloglovin and am running Google Reader simultaneously. So far... not really happy. While Google Reader has alerted me to updates on your blog and Amy's, Bloglovin has not - even though I imported all of my subscriptions. So we'll see...
ReplyDeleteI originally decided to replace reader with bloglovin like Cheri, I'm not really keen on it so I'm also trying theoldreader, that is once it manages to copy my stuff over (there's something like 36,000 people ahead of me).
ReplyDeletei transfered over too, wasn't sure about the link thingy either x
ReplyDeleteI have decided that I am going to put this off. I can enjoy GR while everyone switches over then maybe about late May I'll a post questioning what you switched to and how did you like.
ReplyDeleteI just signed up for bloglovin' too. We'll see how that works compared to the other options I've already tried (Newsblur (good, but wanted $24/year for premium service, i.e., more than 12 feeds); The Old Reader (so far doesn't play nice with Internet Explorer); and the Reader component of WordPress (not the most user-friendly interface ever).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, happy blogging...
I'm not sure what I'm going to switch over to yet. I've tried Feedly but I'm not that crazy about it. I did go over to Bloglovin to see what it's like but time will tell.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting a bit myself.
ReplyDeleteRinda
I am very sad about Google Reader :-(
ReplyDeleteI haven't decided what to do yet ...
I'm sad the Google Reader is going, I will probably move to Bloglovin too x
ReplyDeleteI'm sad that GR is going, I've been very happy with that since I started blogging. I'm going to do a bit of research and wait awhile I think. Hoping somebody comes up with a better alternative. Thanks for your kind comments on my cards today.

LOL! Funny I did just the same thing during my lunch break! Back to work now!! See you there at Blog Lovin!!
ReplyDeleteYou have done a better job than I have because every time I try to add that "follow me" widget to my blog I get an error message!! I think the luck of the Irish has deserted me for the moment..
ReplyDeleteWhy don't I read things in red!? I pressed on the earlier link twice and only then saw the bit in red ' - d'oh! Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday :) xx
ReplyDeleteGood for you to have the initiative to get on the transition right away. I'm still in wait and see mode - too busy still catching up in Reader to worry about it.
ReplyDeleteI've started to think about the big switch over ...
ReplyDeleteI am liking BlogLovin so far. I like that it opens straight into the original blog so it makes it so much easier for me to comment. I just have to sit down and figure out how to link my blog to it. (short time span with computers sometimes!!)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving Bloglovin so far, so much easier than Google Reader. x
ReplyDeleteI had just got to the point where my Google Reader was as I wanted it :-( Going to join the troops and move to Bloglovin too x
ReplyDeleteWell done for being so organised - I'm holding back a bit - I'd like to see what my friends like in practice!
