I've been in the garden this week
LOOKING UP
the oranges are turning orange!
LOOKING DOWN
not only 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and his family on the nasturtiums, but also a couple of interesting looking insects!
I'm adding in an extra LOOKING UP picture...when I looked up at the mountains this morning I couldn't quite believe THIS:
yes, that is a very fine dusting of snow!!..no sign of it, or even frost down here though it was certainly a cold and stormy night...but more about that later!
Hoping you're having a good weekend wherever you are!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
Wow, snow and oranges on trees all at once: that's definitely worth recording
ReplyDeleteWhat a superb contrast in conditions, Alison - not so long ago it was temperatures of 30C, I think?
ReplyDeleteSnow at the same time as orange season? What a wonderful part of the world you live in.
ReplyDeleteI do wish I could look up and see oranges.....though I'll probably soon be able to look up and see snow!!
ReplyDeleteGood grief! Snow?! They say its coming here too but we shall see.
ReplyDeleteSNOW?!? I had no idea!! And I do hope you squashed that caterpillar after the photo :) My garden is full of slugs since the rains :(((((
ReplyDeleteSnow and oranges was my first thought! such beautiful skies Alison.
ReplyDeleteLovely oranges. Having a citrus tree always feels so exotic to my scottish heart
ReplyDeleteLooking at your lovely up and down shots makes it seem weird that there's snow on the mountain! :) xx
ReplyDeleteLovely photos - no snow in the skies here!
ReplyDeleteTotally amazed you have oranges in November, especially when you have a dusting of snow on the mountains. Those are some weird looking bugs for sure.
