We don't have piped in gas here in rural Spain, so the gas that we use for our central heating and cooking is delivered like this...and only on a Tuesday or Thursday morning!:

Is that how it is delivered to your house, or do you have to collect it from a depot? Propane gas cylinders always remind me of when I used to go out on exercise with the RAF in Germany, as propane was used to fuel the field kitchen!

Life is so different ... glad ours is piped, but we might be a little more careful if we ran the risk of running out!
ReplyDeleteWhoa - that's interesting. I've never seen anything like that. I remember my grandma's house having a propane tank in her back yard and the truck would come once in a while to refill it, but I think the supply lasted for several months. How long does a tank like that last you?

It's so interesting to see little snippets of everyday life in Spain through blog posts like this. Oh what we take for granted over here. I bet yours lasts longer by not having to use central heating too often!
