You may remember me mentioning that I recently went on a walk through the almond groves...needless to say I took a few photographs!
ZOOMING OUT
ZOOMING IN
There is little blossom left now...the almond trees are mostly sporting their green leaves: nature is truly amazing and I feel so blessed to live in this beautiful part of our world.
I hope the recent weather conditions haven't affected the natural beauty in your part of blogland too much!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

ReplyDeleteI've only seen almond trees once in the central valley of California, but not when they were in bloom. Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love blossom! When I was small (and trees were tall), I remember blossom flowering around the time of my birthday in late May. Now they flower earlier and earlier.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely gorgeous Alison! I'm so longing for Spring now. Despite a three day string of warm days, it still wasn't enough to melt all the snow. I'm tired of all the white and ready for some color!
ReplyDeleteOh how simply gorgeous Alison - soooo pretty. Do they smell nice too? I don't think I've ever been near an almond tree, let alone one in bloom.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - no blooms here yet.
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful - Wookie loves almonds. Do the trees smell of almonds?
ReplyDeleteThe almond groves are so beautiful! Our plum tree is in full bloom right now. It always goes off before the pear or apple.
