Not a bite, as I had thought.......but shingles around my right eye......not life-threatening but sore and itchy!

    Oh poor you. I can sympathise as I've had it in exactly the same place. Hope it gets better soon and doesn't itch too much. :0)

    Oh no!! I had shingles in 2013, a very mild case really, but it zapped my energy for months afterwards. Sending prayers for a quick recovery!

    Oh how painful Alison. David has had shingles so I know just how painful it can be. Hope you get better very quickly x

    Ooooh - I empathize! I had shingles twenty something years ago, in a row around the left side of my chest and onto my back... right where the bra band sits. It was awfully uncomfortable and took some ridiculously powerful antibiotics to kill it. I hope you have gotten the right medication to make it go away!

    Oh no, your poor thing :(. And there was me hoping it was just a bite ... Have they been able to give you any anit-virals for the pain and swelling? Hoping you'll be better very soon ...
