Happy Easter my friends.....hope you've had a relaxing and fairly peaceful weekend.
Here?...there have been a few 'firsts'- not first time EVERS but certainly first time this year!
Take Friday for instance....it was warm enough at 9 o'clock in the morning to sit outside (in short sleeves) and enjoy my coffee!
Later that day another first......the sound of laughter and of a recorder being played from one of the houses behind me! The people who own it live in Valencia and use it as a holiday/weekend home and don't start using it until Easter weekend....I am glad to say that say that the recorder player has improved over the years!
My first houseguests have also arrived....Kirsty and her Craig arrived last night: I haven't seen her since the beginning of February so it's lovey to have her here for a few days.
...and finally, the parasol on the terrace had it's first opening today:
Waving at SIAN and the Monday Memorandumers...and anyone else who has popped by!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
I can almost feel the sunshine coming from your post! Those sound like a great set of firsts.
ReplyDeleteHope the rest of the week continues in much the same way!
Beautiful blue sky in your selfie & what a lovely selfie it is. I am quite envious about your patio sitting weather - it is snowing big wet snowflakes today :(
ReplyDeleteThose are the kind of firsts I am looking forward to! So ready for Spring!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you too, it looks like you had much brighter weather than we had! xx
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't wait for coffee on the patio! Sounds like a lovely way to start the week. Belated Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely set of sunny firsts! I think we have to wait a while yet, we have the sunshine but not the heat!
ReplyDeleteSounds like summer is arriving over there.
ReplyDeleteOh isn't it loving seeing the sun ... It's meant to show its face here again tomorrow as the past few days have been horrid. Could you please spare just a little for us
ReplyDeleteSo happy that we have warmed up here although I can't complain as we had a very mild winter. Love the selfie and that Kirsty and her Craig paid a visit :)
ReplyDeleteThose are some mighty fine first of this year!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear Kirsty got home for a bit. We've had 3 nice enough days that you could sit outside but now it's cooled down a bit that you could but you'd need a jacket on.
ReplyDeleteWhen you hear the term "anti gravity technology," many people conjure up images of Buck Rogers and the Jetsons flying around the sky. Or perhaps you think of NASA and the space program, with the astronauts learning how to deal with zero gravity on the moon? Anti gravity technology is not a science of the future, however. It's something that we can benefit from right now. small social media agency london
