.....just standing there, waiting for me.....in my neighbour's garden!
I popped along to show her the results of yesterday's pedicure (which I shall share with you soon- I have marbled toenails!) and as I walked in to her garden I spotted this little statue. My neighbour couldn't quite understand my excitement, but was very happy to have been able to help!
I also have as-close-to-a-hammock as I reckon I'm going to get
I'm hoping it qualifies Rinda?!...if not, I'm off looking for a heart-shaped stone! It IS suspended from the hanger on one side, though I realise that technically it should be both sides.
I await your judgement ;)
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
Love the angel....and it is most certainly hammock shaped.
ReplyDeleteThe angel is adorable! Don't give up yet on the tree swing/hammock - there is still a whole month before the Scavenger Hunt is up!
ReplyDeleteShe's kind of peaceful loking, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteI think we are all finding that family and friends think we are getting excited about odd things this summer! Well done on the angel, fancy her being so close to home all this time. Who knows where you may find a hammock ....
ReplyDeleteYay, imagine one of your hardest finds was so close all along :) I love your hammock chair :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your angel photo, Alison. When I read your post caption I thought, "Of COURSE you've got yourself an angel...in fact, you have many!" ;o)
ReplyDeleteWe had a terrible wind storm come through last night and it knocked my little garden angel off the wall and she broke in half. :o\ Time for a little angel shopping...
that's not fair, so close. Off to look next door!!
ReplyDeleteLove the story of the angel. So, so close all that time! lol A hammock is going to be a harder find I think if the one you captured doesn't count. Although our neighbors have one in their backyard.
ReplyDeleteYour neighbour has a pretty garden! I love that wagon filled with flowers!! A heart shaped stone? That sounds like a tough one!!
ReplyDeleteLovely little angel! Love the hammock, it looks very comfortable:) I've just posted some of my scavenger hunt photos too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous angel, so serene! Wish I had a hammock just like that one, looks very comfy indeed :)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Estelle xx

ReplyDeletewhoop whoop you found an angel!! Your hammock find is much closer to the real thing than the one i got lol!
ReplyDeleteWell done on the angel - I've still got half the list to go (unless I use some cheeky cheaty photos), but there's another month ...
ReplyDeleteWhat about the toes ... marbled toes, I'd like to see those nails!
ReplyDeleteWell done, I like the hammock - I could have a snooze right now, hey, hang on, it's only 9.15AM here!
Wait! Where are the to
ReplyDeleteAck, I mean where are the toenails.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very nice hammock ... one in which you won't end up on the ground everytime you go to get up! For once, I am actually looking forward to a bit of summer. Hammocks, garden statues ... ahhhhhh, lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your gorgeous photos as you hunt down your list!! ~ Blessings, Tracey

well done - one of the things I really enjoy about the scavenger hunt is the joy at stumbling upon an item
ReplyDeleteshe is a lovely find :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun find - and right next door! I think that definitely qualifies under the hammock category!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a hammock in my book and the angle is beautiful! Glad you caught your train! Having fun catching up with you this evening.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little angel - you've given me an idea. Think we're off to check out the garden centres today. I've checked all the churches and cemetaries in the area so..... Oh that hammock looks so much more comfortable than ours. Speaking of which off to put it together.
ReplyDeleteShe's a gorgeous little angel. Just shows that you don't have to look far.
