I'm sure you know by now that I've joined RINDA'S bit of Summer fun-a photographic Scavenger Hunt...and even though I've had a few days off from blogging, I HAVE managed to get some more of the coveted items!
NUMBER 12- A MAZE, LABYRINTH OR TRAIL
I knew I wasn't going to find a labyrinth or a maze around these parts, but as I was walking up from the village a few days ago, I happened to look down to see how full our reservoir was, and noticed this perfect trail through the orange and almond groves
That is the reservoir in the foreground...and it's now beginning to drop slightly, as the water is being fed to the vines, ready for the harvest at the beginning of September
NUMBER 15- Someone Dancing
I took this on the last night of our Line Dancing class..we have to stop for six weeks over the summer as it just gets too hot!
NUMBER 19-AN OUTDOOR STAIRWAY
I came across this eye-catching staircase when I was out for lunch last week...out came the camera again!
NUMBER 3- A BORDER
I mainly garden in pots, but this is one of my raised borders
And that's it for July, my friends...I'm working on a special one for Saturday's LINK UP.
I am enjoying a few days on my own, just catching up with lots of little jobs (between going in to the pool to cool off!!). Craig left yesterday and Kirsty is back (with a friend) on Saturday, so the busy-ness starts again then!
Hope you're all having a good week
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

ReplyDeleteAlison, the last shot, the one of the garden bed is just lovely! The colour is wonderful and so are the lines.

Beautiful photos Alison!
ReplyDeleteI know I say it all the time - but it really is lovely to see a glimpse of a life in a different country. Too hot for line dancing, eh?
ReplyDeleteHi Alison. Nice to 'meet' you, thanks for stopping by my blog. I love that staircase - will put mine up soon, hopefully I'll be going where's a good fountain tomorrow
ReplyDeleteFun photos...I especially liked the line dancing one, though it's good I wasn't it as I'm almost always on the wrong foot compared to everyone else. I must have been behind the door when rhythm was handed out!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the line dancing! Enjoy your weekend Alison :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Have a nice weekend with Kirsty & friend :)
ReplyDeleteGreat dancing shot - I can understand it being too hot - looking at the border photo it looks wonderfully hot on a grey overcast UK day.
ReplyDeleteWe're having trouble staying cool here, too, even with the AC running all day! Great photos - the raised border is my favorite, with the outdoor stairway a close second (such a neat design on the stairs).
ReplyDeleteLove them ALL but the stairs are amazing! Thanks so much for the prayers and love this week, my friend. Give your girl an extra hug or two...I know you cherish that more than most ;)
ReplyDeleteLike your border and those stairs look neat
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing photos of your outdoors, Alison. Oh how I would love to sit under that gazebo with you and enjoy a cold beverage!
