....and came up with this
The fab butterfly embellishment at the top left hand corner, was handmade by my very talented friend MITRA...... and I used THIS tutorial on MISS SMITH'S blog to make the journalling card
You may remember that my camera went missing just before Christmas (and that DH bought me a new one for Christmas)....well, it turned up under the front seat of my car yesterday!!! Needless to say I am delighted that I have all the photographs I had taken in November and December back....
I do hope the weather hasn't been too bad where you are this weekend....we've had mixed weather with some badly needed rain earlier today...I'm hoping not to see too much more of it while mum and dad are here!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

ReplyDeleteLove the layout and so happy that your camera showed up with all those missing pictures! No scrapping here so far this yeaer - I'm busy finishing up the filing for 2012 and then I've got to shred all the 2011 stuff so I am room for 2013. :) Then I can scrap!
ReplyDeleteAnd now you have two lovely cameras!
ReplyDeleteYou chose great photos for that sketch. When I saw your layout I was immediately drawn in by the feeling of movement.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has got here before me and said everything I was going to say :) I'm delighted you got your camera back - it's funny isn't it that the lost photos are as important for scrapbookers as the lost valuable item! Your layout does indeed have a wonderful happy energy about it
ReplyDeleteGreat layout. Really like how you used all those pattern papers.

ReplyDeleteLovely layout and so pleased that the camera turned up! Reminds me of the time my son woke me at 4am because he had to get to Stansted airport for his 5am shift and he couldn't find his ID card. We searched his whole bedroom (yes, at FOUR oclock in the morning!) then he went out in the dark to search his car and sure enough, there it was - under the passenger seat.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of patterned papers! It's been forever since I scrapped.
ReplyDeleteRinda
Yeah for scrapping! I finally got in my craft room for the first time this year yesterday. Your layout turned out fabulous - I would not have chosen those patterned papers together, but the work perfect!
