I DID IT ......

......I actually scrapped this week! I used this sketch from LET'S GET SKETCHY

....and came up with this

The fab butterfly embellishment at the top left hand corner, was handmade by my very talented friend MITRA...... and I used THIS  tutorial on MISS SMITH'S blog to make the journalling card

You may remember that my camera went missing just before Christmas (and that DH bought me a new one for Christmas)....well, it turned up under the front seat of my car yesterday!!! Needless to say I am delighted that I have all the photographs I had taken in November and December back....

I do hope the weather hasn't been too bad where you are this weekend....we've had mixed weather with some badly needed rain earlier today...I'm hoping not to see too much more of it while mum and dad are here!

Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  11. Everyone has got here before me and said everything I was going to say :) I'm delighted you got your camera back - it's funny isn't it that the lost photos are as important for scrapbookers as the lost valuable item! Your layout does indeed have a wonderful happy energy about it

  15. Lovely layout and so pleased that the camera turned up! Reminds me of the time my son woke me at 4am because he had to get to Stansted airport for his 5am shift and he couldn't find his ID card. We searched his whole bedroom (yes, at FOUR oclock in the morning!) then he went out in the dark to search his car and sure enough, there it was - under the passenger seat.
