Today I'm taking part in a bloghop, organized by JULIE over at LETTING THE DAYS ROLL BY
Julie's blog is two year's old today, and to celebrate she decided to have a PASS-THE-PAGE bloghop.
If you are new to the idea of Pass-the-Page, it is a form of Chinese Whispers for scrapbookers. The idea is that you receive a photo of a page, scraplift it and then send a photo of your page to the next person, who scraplifts it and sends a photo of their page to the next person and so on. It’s amazing to see the twists and turns and changes by the time the final layout is revealed.
If you have come fromJULIE'S blog, you are on the right track...if you've just popped by to see what's happening in my world, you might like to pop over there and follow the hop through to the end!
This is my take on Julie's original layout

Apologies for not being able to show you Julie's original layout, but I forgot to keep a copy of it on my IPad! I will edit this post when I get home tonight to add the list of participants and some close ups off my layout, but in the meantime if you go over to FAY's blog you can carry on hopping!
CONGRATULATIONS Julie!!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
hey! It's me, back in the blogging universe. The layout looks great! I'll be back to this week to look back and catch up on what I have missed the last few weeks :)
ReplyDeleteLovely page! There's such a nice balance to it.

Lovely to see where you went with the original! I like your addition of the diagonal loopy string - really pulls your eye across the page. And the journaling started here :). Great take!
ReplyDeleteGreat layout Alison, I am seeing twists and turns already!
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely and the string works really well x
ReplyDeletenow I know where the twine originated from and the portrait photo! Great page Alison xxx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the trail of twine twisting through the layout, very effective!

ReplyDeleteThis is fab Alison - it has such a great lively look to it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours Alison.
ReplyDeleteLove the introduction of the loopy string. Fab page :-)
ReplyDeleteI see the similarities--white cardstock, handwritten, layers behind the focal photo--but, as always, you've added your own style as well. I like how feminine your page is with the embossed-looking paper and the lacy edge. Nice!
ReplyDeleteLove the addition of the twine. I have heaps, rarely use it and when I do it's either threaded through a tag or tied around something. I must give this a try sometime.
ReplyDeletethanks for being part of the celebrations.
I love the scraplift. The twirly twine is perfect and I can't wait to see the close-ups,
