HELLO to BEING HOME!..... I have enjoyed catching up with friends and family, but I have to admit to having been happy dancing round the house!
HELLO to feeling guilty for being glad to be home.
HELLO to accepting that I am going to have to get over to help mum and dad more often
HELLO to noticing what's been happening in my garden since I've been away...pics later in the week!
HELLO to getting back to eating properly..I really lost the plot while I was away!
HELLO to Keep Fit tomorrow morning...but no Line Dancing tomorrow night - I'm off to a Committee Meeting instead
HELLO to the MAY DAY on Wednesday....unlike the UK, we have our Bank Holiday on May 1
What are you saying hello to this week?
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
I'd be happy dancing too if I had a lovely villa in Spain to come back to!
ReplyDeleteWe've got to wait until next week for our Bank Holiday, nice to have a long weekend to look forward to.
Good luck with the healthy eating intentions and keep fit, you'll soon undo any damage done at the weekend ;-)
Hello to saying Hello to you too and welcome home! Not surprised you are happy dancing in such beautiful surroundings :). Glad you travelled safely and understanding about Mum and Dad. And hope there will be lots of sun kissed fruit and veg to make getting back on track a lot easier! Just look at that sunlight ... Sigh!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, I truly believe the old saying that 'there's no place like home'.
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy too, coming back to that villa.
ReplyDeleteYour villa is beautiful, as is the sunshine! I am saying hello to clearing out more kitchen cupboards in preparation for having our new kitchen installed!
ReplyDeleteThere really is no place like home :)
ReplyDeleteAnd what a lovely home to go home to :) It's never easy staying on track when you're on holiday but I'm sure you'll get back into your own routine again soon enough. I'm also hoping to start eating more healthily this week (and hoping my sister will keep me on track ;) ) xx
ReplyDeleteI'd be delighted to be returning to that lovely home as well.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you are glad to be home, what a beautiful place to live, the light is amazing. I am saying hello to a week of sewing...
ReplyDeleteHello to you too. That looks like a wonderful home. Enjoy may day.
ReplyDeleteI am always happy to return home, to my own space - perfectly understandable Alison!
ReplyDeleteMe too, I am always happy to get home. Your villa is looking splendid in the lovely sunshine! I am saying hello to lots of double glazing salesman, as we try to get a new front door and get some windows fixed! But also some scrapbooking:)
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling of being glad to be home and feeling guilty about it - sounds like you are entering a phase of regular trips between your 2 'homes'.
ReplyDeleteA mixed bag of hellos there. You shouldn't feel guilty about being happy to be home, if you are going to have to help your parents more then you need to recharge your batteries x
ReplyDeleteI like what Jo has to say..recharging your batteries is important. I do understand that feeling, though. My Mum is 70 miles away and she needs a lot of help. We are up and down the road quite a bit..and then of course on a day when we aren't planning on going, something happens and the care doesn't work out properly
ReplyDeleteI tried to comment yesterday via my iPad and Feedly but for some reason yours is the one blog (that I've found) that it won't let me so now to remember what I tried to say.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely home to come home to. I understand the guilt but try and think of it as replenishing your energy for your trips back so that you can help your parents. Meanwhile enjoy the week and your gardens.
ohhhh! what is may day! I am betting it's tomorrow...Sounds like fun. Hopefully it involves some kind of dessert...
ReplyDeleteI'm saying hello to writing exam questions and then grading the answers.
ReplyDeleteRinda
This week I've said Hello to preparing final exams and grading tests and the last parent-teacher meeting of the year! Two weeks and counting!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI liked your line "lost the plot..." I do that more often than I think I want to admit and on more issues than eating habits too!
ReplyDeleteI'm finally catching up after a busy few weeks. My own Dad is poorly as you know but he is only half an hour away and even that feels a long way sometimes. I hope you manage to sort something out together. x
