HELLO MONDAY (LATE AGAIN!)

This week I'm saying :

HELLO and 'THANK YOU' to friends everywhere who send best wishes and inquiries about my dad's health

HELLO to my dad being home from hospital again, but with the knowledge that with his lungs being in the state they are, he is likely to be spending a fair bit of time in said hospital.

HELLO to my two brothers really having stepped up to the mark and  not only looking after mum while dad's been in hospital, but also laying the groundwork for getting a suitable care package organised to give dad a better quality of life at home...now we need the 'professionals' to step up to the mark!

HELLO to seeing them all this coming weekend...I am on the move again!

HELLO to my oldest friend's Silver Wedding party (hello Morag!) on Friday.....hence the reason I am off to Scotland again.....so looking forward to a good night out!

Hoping there are good things in your life to look forward to, and be thankful for this week

Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  16. I'm glad to know your father is well enough to go home. One of my good friends has lung issues (COPD)--I feel helpless with and for him. He, sometimes, is both helpless and hopeless. I hope you and your brothers are able to find an in-home care alternative that will improve your dad's quality of life so that all of you can enjoy each other for as long as possible.
