ReplyDeleteI hope you do get some scrapping done this week - you deserve it! Well done for getting to both of your classes x
ReplyDeleteI know what you're going through and life still has to go on. I hope things get worked out. Well done with the fare and the exercise and here's to a good week for you xx

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're able to take a deep breath after a couple of months (?) of whirlwind activity. Your contributions to the Faire were obviously well received (5000 euros--woohoo!) so you SHOULD bask in that well-deserved glow for at least a few moments. As for your family situation, I'm glad you and your siblings are discovering ways to cope through your parents' elder years. It's a tough place for sure...
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear your Dad is back in hospital, Alison. And thank you so much for your kind message. Glad it has given your brothers a chance to step up and shine ... Thinking of you and hoping you can allow yourself to enjoy your week and look after yourself ...
ReplyDeleteI'm saying hello to catching up on blogs since I graded all my papers. I am also saying, soon, hello to more papers!
ReplyDeleteYou do sound busy. Even though your Dad is doing poorly, I am sure he is lucky to have such great kids! I hope you get some scrappy time in - it is good for the sanity. And life must go on!

ReplyDeleteSaying hello to packing for a trip to California this weekend with my girl C. :o)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that your brothers are stepping up for your parents, and I really wish I could say something that would take your guilty feelings away! It makes it so hard to live far away - I definitely know that feeling - but your mom and dad know and understand that, I'm sure. Hang in there, dear friend! xo
What a fantastically successful fayre! Last week of school for Clara; lots and lots of homework for her.
ReplyDeleteRinda
Your mum and dad will know that it's not easy for you being so far away, so please don't feel guilty.
ReplyDeleteGreat news on the fayre
Oh hugs from NY! I hear ya on that last bit! Thanks for sharing your photos with us too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvellous amount of money raised!
ReplyDeleteGreat news on the fayre. Sorry to hear about your Dad, but glad to hear that your brothers are able to help. I know how you feel, Hugh's parents are only in Cornwall, but it is still really difficult to help out as it is a 6 hour drive to get down there and we both work. His sister is on the doorstep (she lives with them) and so does so much for them that at times it does make us feel guilty, but we all can only do what we can do.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your Dad. Don't feel guilty. Your mum and Dad will know that you are looking out for them even if you are far away.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear the fayre went well. Have a good week. :0)
WOW - congrats on raising so much money. I'm sorry to hear your Dad is back in the hospital.
