I made that decision while I was in the US which was, technically speaking, Week Three (assuming that I was starting on Jan 1, which I decided to do knowing that I HAD some photographic evidence of those first two weeks).
I did buy
I have used my SILHOUETTE to cut out the page markers and printed some of the sentiments directly onto blank cards.
Weeks one and two only warranted a page each...I reckon this may happen quite often, so I'm not worrying about it.....
Week 3, however, took up THREE pages..plus a mini-insert I made by just cutting up one of the pocket pages.
You will notice I've not got to grips with photographing PL yet!...in saying that the light's not been so good here today.
I won't be boring you with every week of PL, but I thought I would share my approach- such as it is!
After my first panic attacks trying to work out photo orientation, I am actually enjoying this ..and finding time to just do a little bit here and there.
Hope your week is going well.....I'm back to SERIOUSLY trying to lose weight , having gained almost a stone of what I had originally lost and tomorrow's my first weigh-in...I'm hoping for a loss because I have been good(ish) since last week!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
This is coming along quite nicely! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI can see quite a few people I recognise in these pages! You seem to have really got to grips with PL already.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great already, even at this early stage. And like Deb said, fun to see people in your photos that I have also met!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet your final decision was at least somewhat influenced by one or more persons in those photos of week 3! And what a great start you have. I have finally come to terms with the fact that as much as I admire everyone ELSE's Project Life pages, I just have zero interest in attempting a weekly or even monthly chronological recap of my life. And I think I'm finally okay with that. I have so many other things I'm working on right now anyway.
ReplyDeleteHooray! I love the way your pages look, and I'm so happy to hear that you are getting into a groove with it. Makes me so happy to see some familiar faces. And I love that you included Denise on TV! :o) I wouldn't mind seeing your spreads every week, just sayin'. xo
ReplyDeleteYour pages look great! I think 6x6 pads work really well because their smaller scale of pattern goes better in the smaller pockets. Easier on postage too ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo great to see your project life work, Alison!! You are such a natural at the project life concept. These pages are fabulous!! ~ Blessings, Tracey

ReplyDeleteLove your pages so far! Good luck with the weight loss:)
ReplyDeleteit's all looking great, keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that you are doing this in such a relaxed way, without putting pressure on yourself to complete a certain number of pages every week and so on. Good stuff!
ReplyDeleteyou are doing a great job..it looks so good x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great start to PL. Good luck at the weigh in...

ReplyDeleteWhat a good start you have made and I love your cards and titles.
ReplyDeletelove your colorful take on PL!! good luck on your weight-loss efforts; I know it can be difficult! (especially with a vacation in there, right!:D )
ReplyDeleteGreat start on your PL Alison - such happy colors & pages!

ReplyDeleteLooking good. I'm still not joining PL just yet. Maybe after the kids are out of the house.

Looks great. Watch out -- the buying of PL cards is quite addictive.
