THE WEEK THAT WAS

Another week passed...and we're into March already!

This week I have:

BEEN TRAVELLING AGAIN

this time to the north of England to help Kirsty move apartments

ready to be moved down three flights of stairs!!...and up another three flights to the new apartment!!

....to say I am exhausted is an understatement-but she is happily installed in her new abode!

HAVE READ:

I'm really not a great lover of books about the Holocaust (I read for pleasure and some subjects just upset me too much!), but I did enjoy this one...though I must confess that I only read it because of the hype about the film, which I would like to see.

HAVE COMPLETED LEVEL 181 OF CANDY CRUSH SAGA:

after almost six weeks this was a great cause for celebration!

I hope you have had a good week and that the coming week brings good things your way!

Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  1. Glad the move went well - wow, three flights of stairs, good exercise though, right? :>)
I read Book Thief a couple of years ago, but we missed the movie when it was out here - may try to rent it later on.

  3. good grief! only six weeks to get to level 181. I was stuck for weeks on several levels and it took me a year to get to where I am stuck now - I think it is level 284. You must be very good at lining them all up.

  7. You've had quite the productive week! I'm also interested in The Book Thief but have neither read it nor seen the movie. And I join Sandra among those who have never played candy crush!

  9. Oh my goodness, a move up and down stairs, sheesh! I want to see that movie also. It will be interesting to see how it matches the book. And I've not tried Candy Crush yet. I hear it's absolutely addicting.....Have a great week!

  10. We have the impending house move looming up in the next couple of months - 4th time in as many years but hopefully this one will last for the next three/five years! Not read The Book Thief but may do on your recommendation and refuse to download Candy Crush as I know I will be hooked like so many of my friends!

  11. I'd say you were a busy, busy lady, but since you have ample time for Candy Crush, I wonder. (wink!)

  12. I finished The Book Thief and hopt to watch the movie when I fly to California in a few weeks. For some reason I haven't found Candy Crush addicting which is a good thing since I stayed at level 20something forever lol Hope Kirsty loves the new place and stays put a long time!

  15. Haha - I laughed when I got to the part about Candy Crush. I am SOOOO happy I managed to avoid that game! I kept hearing how absolutely addictive it was so I made up my mind not to download the app.

Glad to hear that you got your girl all settled. How's your dad these days?

    Have a lovely weekend! xo
