My weekend?....catching up with friends for coffee, dealing with the fallout from a sudden resignation from a Committee, getting the furniture polish out-and using it (!), blog reading, book reading and thinking about Blogfriends having fun in Cirencester!

I deleted Candy Crush after about a month as it was just too addictive! Sounds like a good weekend (apart from the polishing of course!)

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why Candy Crush doesn't have that pull on me, most phone games don't. Egads, you got out the furniture polish AND used it!!! Hope you treated yourself afterwards ;)
ReplyDeleteThe part about furniture polishing made me laugh--as much as we might wish that such tasks would do themselves, it still takes good old elbow grease to make things shine. (As I sit here early Friday morning, I'm contemplating my weekend chores--yardwork and ironing mostly--and realizing that I can't wish them away.)
