Mother Nature has done it again!....right on cue the weather has broken...the horribly high temperatures we've seen over the summer have dropped to a really pleasant, bearable 25- 28 degrees during the day and I haven't had to have a fan running during the night for two nights now!...as for today:
....yes, it's actually raining ...the clouds are so low you can't even see the mountains behind me in this pic!
We are forecast rain for a few days this week....it is most welcome I can assure you....the grape harvest hasn't been great, and the almonds are shrivelling up where they are hanging...if we get some water the oranges might still stand a chance!
The weekend......very mixed...dancing, paella-eating, friendship-quilt-square-catching-up (yes, that's you JACKY and JO), pulling-dead-plants-from-the-garden and worrying about a poorly girl!
Waving at SIAN, who came up with the idea for this weekly meme.
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
I like the sound of the dancing, the paella and the quilting, but not the worrying about the poorly girl.
ReplyDeleteDancing is good for the soul ... hope the poorly girl is feeling better?
ReplyDeleteThey say we're going to have an Indian summer. Well I'm not sure about that but it's been a lovely few days recently and no rain planned until October
ReplyDeleteUnusually....we could actually do with some rain here!!!
ReplyDeleteFriendship square catching up his high on the list of priorities around here! Thank you for the reminder. Glad to hear the weather is cooling down for you too.
ReplyDeleteThe temperatures are dropping (a little) here, too, but no rain for us! Hope you have a fabulous week!
ReplyDeleteI hope she feels a lot better soon
ReplyDeleteYou've given me an idea..we haven't had paella for a while. I could make that for tea. Thank you!
I hope the rest of the week is a great one
A very creative me-on-Monday shot. Enjoy your week--it sounds jam-packed!
ReplyDeleteRain here today, for only the second time this month, and of course my girl is out on a geography trip to the beach! I hope your poorly girl is on the mend now x
ReplyDeleteSending my wishes that the poorly girl rebounds quickly too. Your weekend sounds like it was full of variety - often the best kind.
ReplyDeleteHoping that poorly girl is a lot better ... and the cooler temperatures there sound welcome even though they'd be super-high for here! Sad to think of all that glorious produce suffering too.
