ME ON MONDAY

As anyone who reads my blog regularly knows, I am no seamstress in any shape or form! Even so, I have been taking part in  FIONA'S Friendship Quilt project; to date , all of my squares have been hand sewn as I have never owned a sewing machine...but  as from today I am the proud owner of a brand new second hand sewing machine;

The good news, SIAN, is that your square is now underway; the not-so-good-news is that you are the guinea pig for my fledgling machine skills!!

The weekend?......it was a Project Life catching up (all of two weeks!), housework catching up, being Front of House at our local theatre group's commemoration of the two World wars and taking MY LITTLE OLD LADY to watch the MOORS AND CHRISTIANS Parade (I feel a separate Post coming on) at FONTILLES...she thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle, as did I!

As normal, a varied and interesting weekend...I do hope yours was too!

Waving at SIAN, from whom the idea of 'ME ON MONDAY' originated

Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
