The view from our terrace...blossom on all of two almond trees
TODAY
a valley full of blossom!
You might also notice the difference in the weather.....and how the mountain in the background has disappeared under the cloud in the second photograph!
Can I just thank you all for your good wishes for my dad....it turns out he has pneumonia, and at this moment is being pumped full of antibiotics and steroids...he seems to be responding slowly, so we are hoping the crisis is over again.
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
What a difference a week makes. Good to hear your dad is in good hands .... wishing him a speedy recovery x
ReplyDeleteYour poor dad! My mum has asthma, so antibiotics and steroids make a fairly regular appearance. I do hope he is much better very soon. Expect him to be a bit dopey for a while - the steroids really mess up my mum's brain and make her doo-lally and the anti-biotics muck around with her insides and give her digestive problems. But better to be a bit nutty for a week or two, than to have pneumonia! I wish him a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteLove the two photos; I remember you posting about the almond trees a couple of winters/springtimes ago, when the weather spoiled the blossoms and everyone was worried there would be a poor almond harvest - and also a lack of tourists to see them. All being well, you should have plenty of both this year! So pretty...
Wishing your dad a quick response to the medications! What I notice the most in your photos are the beautiful pink flowers on the trees in the second photo. I'm immediately drawn to anything flowering! We're being inundated (once again) with snow and cold temperatures----no end in sight!
ReplyDeleteLove the blossom . What a rapid change! Hope your dad continues to improve.
ReplyDeletehope your dad recovers soon...my mom's husband recovered successfully after some good antibiotics!
ReplyDeleteLove how quickly the blossoms appeared...
beautiful blossom - a good game of spot the difference with the mountains.
ReplyDeleteblossom and almond..two lovely words and two lovely sights
ReplyDeleteWishing your dad all the very best. Steroids can make you feel very odd, but they do a wonderful job
I hope he continues to improve xx
ReplyDeleteSending warmest good wishes to you all and hoping that those clouds, in all senses, stay away from your world.
ReplyDeleteHope your Dad is continuing to improve x
ReplyDeleteIt's like looking at real life Farmville! I'm pleased to hear your dad is improving xx

Catching up with you today. Glad to hear that your dad is stable. Oh! those almond trees are glorious.
ReplyDeleteWhat a big difference in only a week--amazing. The flowers certainly brighten up an otherwise cloudy day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog the other day. I'm finding genealogy blogging to be very time consuming, mostly because I don't know as much about my ancestors as I should and thus find myself researching and/or interviewing at the same time as I'm trying to write the post. Still, I'm enjoying it and learning some surprising things about my family in the process.
So amazing the difference one week makes isn't it? Best wishes for your Dad and your Mum.
