MEMOS, MAIL, ME

Another week has flown past...most of it in a flurry of dust here!

You may remember that I mentioned we are having a bedroom and ensuite shower-room refurb and this week has been the demolition part of the process:

and I have spent my evenings resembling Cinderella on a bad day!!

I did however find time to help organise an Afternoon Tea in which 1000 euros was raised for our local Charity:

...and of course, now I'm home for a while it's time to get the garden up to scratch so this weekend saw a visit to a Garden Centre to buy this little lot:

I managed two scrapbook layouts;

I found the sketch on PAPER ISSUES

....and THIS sketch over at STUCK?!

As for mail?......the box of scrappy goodness I mentioned last week did indeed arrive:

Waving to SIAN and the 'Mondayers'...hoping you have all had a lovely Easter weekend and that this week brings good things for you!

Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  1. Lovely scrapbook pages. We worked on our garden over Easter - not as warm over here though! Your afternoon tea looked great - well done on the amount raised.

  2. Waving to you, Alison! And saying many congratulations on that splendid total you raised. Looking at all those lovely cakes, it must have taken such a lot of work and organisation - especially with the semi-chaos at home! You have my admiration. And you managed to produce pretty pages as well? You are on a roll! I wish I was as productive :).

  3. I'm very impressed with how productive you've been with the house under construction! The tea looks very elegant, and it's so nice that it proved to be so profitable.

  4. Well hopefully the messiest part of the renovation is over now and 'onwards and upwards' from here on in!
I'm so pleased that all your hard work organising the afternoon tea was rewarded by such a fantastic amount of money being raised. Now time to relax and enjoy planting up those lovely flowers!

  6. The demolition bit is always about ten times noisier and dustier than expected, am I right? lol

That's an amazing sum to have raised. Fantastic! You have certainly earned yourself a good long play with all your lovely new supplies :) Wishing you all the best with the week ahead.

  7. Well, it does look like some demolition has taken place over there!! Keep reminding yourself how nice it will be when it's all done. We're planning for a kitchen remodel . . . but I'm not looking forward to that beginning part!

Nice layouts & such a great batch of scrappy goodness you received!

You're always doing such great works with the charities - yippee for another successful event!
