MEMOS, MAIL, ME

Another week gone by in my building site...but there IS progress! The tiler has been in this week and we have gone from THIS:

to THIS:

I am promised the tiling will be finished by Wednesday and then the 'hardware' can go in

Sanity just about prevails , thanks to my bit of scrapping:

I had quite a few photos taken over the course of last year's Fiesta so decided to try Pocket pages for a change

.......though there was no National Scrapbooking Day time for me, as I had had head up to Valencia for a 'quick' visit ( is there REALLY such a thing?!) to this perennial favourite:

The final decision has now been made re the built in wardrobes...and fingers are crossed for a delivery next week.

Unfortunately there was no mail this week...the book I had been expecting from AMAZON has been returned (due to the Carrier being unable to find our house -a very common problem unfortunately) so I shall re-order and request it is sent by 'normal' mail and not by carrier...a request I have made more than once.

Waving to SIAN and the 'MONDAYERS'....and hoping  you have had more luck/joy with mail this week!

Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  1. Ah, the joys of living in a construction zone! But progress clearly is being made... and it is always so worth it in the end.

  2. Aw, sorry to hear about your book. That's disappointing. We have Ikea wardrobes and we love them: not many things are worth skipping NSD for, but a trip to Ikea is definitely worth it. Onwards and upwards to the end of the work, eh?

  3. Refurbishments works at home always take longer than anticipated, don't they? But it will be worth it! I'm going to be in Valencia in the summer ...
    Hope your book arrives soon!

  4. Love the papers you used for the Fiesta layout---just perfect! After a thorough remodeling of our bathrooms last year I can attest that all the inconvenience is well worth it!

  6. Having just been through a renovation myself, let me say, 18 weeks of chaos---still totally worth it!
