http://alisonslife-in-the-slow-lane.blogspot.com/ Life in the Slow Lane: I got one-

Monday 25 April 2011

I got one-

-an Easter Egg, that is. We went out for coffee (in the rain again!), this morning and, as we were leaving the Cafe/bar, DH dragged me into the little jewellery shop next door- and this is what he bought me:

It's an Easter Egg charm for my Pandora bracelet...which is much better for me than the chocolate ones!

In saying that, I have had my fair  more than my fair share of chocolate - thanks to DD's generous nature! It did help with the frayed nerves last night..and by today sanity has just about returned!

Today I am trying to re-focus on WW and at least not putting on any weight this week. This is my downfall-all that chocolate lying round the house and not being able to walk past it! However, the girls have gone back to Barcelona, taking their eggs with them-and some chocolates we had been given- so the temptation has been removed! Isn't it sad that at my age I can't say 'NO' !

Thanks for stopping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  11. So glad you had a nice Easter...the Pandora charm is really nice!

It sounds to me like you are doing better with the WW/chocolate challenge than you give yourself credit for--at least most of the goodies have left your house! Good luck!

  13. Hi Alison, thank you for your kind birthday wishes for Gracia.

I too cannot resist chocolate but fortunately in all the hub-bub of the birthday celebrations DH forgot to buy me an egg. That didn't stop me eating everything in site though :(
