Scrap-in-the-Moment Day 6

Today has been a 'house' day...apart from a quick pre-weekend food shop.

Just so that you don't think I spend all my time lying around the pool, scrapping, blogging and wandering round pretty villages drinking tea and coffee, here's today's page!

I am pleased to be able to report that the ironing board is now back in it's home, and the ironing basket is as empty as it's going to be (I have to confess that it's actually never empty!).

I also have to confess that the reason for  the ironing, dusting and stripping beds today is that DH is due home tomorrow, and I don't want him to think I spend all my time lying round the pool, scrapping, blogging and wandering round pretty villages drinking tea and coffee!

Thanks for stopping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  4. LOL great post. There's a lot to be said for ironing stuff you are about to wear at the very last minute - lovely and warm! Neither of my boys iron their stuff while they're away, so I don't bother when they're home!

  5. Ironing - why is it the basket never empties? At least you got it out of the way before the weekend.

  7. I only iron what we want, when we want it! David has been know to be absolutely boiling in a jumper because I wont let him take it off as I have only ironed the collar and cuffs of his shirt ;-)

I am really enjoying seeing your lovely pages this week.

  8. another great layout - love the colours. Ironing is a real chore for me too - I try very hard to buy clothes that do not need ironing.

  9. I got so fed up by the ironing pile a friend suggested I do like she does and put stuff away straight away after drying without ironing to then iron if need be. I don't iron half as much as I did and the huge pile that I could never forget about was a weight off my mind. Very liberating!!

  11. lol!! Oh, I loathe ironing too - I often choose new clothes on the basis that they don't need it! The Doctor irons his own shirts (he learnt a long time ago that it was that or not have them done at all, ever...) and I'm hoping to train the kids to do theirs as soon as possible! ;)

  12. So it's not just Post Office problems that are universal - hatred of ironing is too!

  13. LOL Alison - the only ironing I ever do is flattening my scrappy ribbon every few months! I thought in Spain you could get reasonably priced household help? I have Mercy (my blessing) who lives in...makes life in Africa bearable :) Pretty page & loving all your journaling!!
