Well, between us this week dad and I managed to get from this:
to this:
I have to say that my addictive tendencies came out again....every time I passed the table, I just HAD to have another little look and another little 'fiddle'...poor dad- I borrowed it for him, and he hardly got a look in!
You realise that now I have a table covered in jigsaw pieces (yes, we've started another one!) and one covered in scrappy goodness...just as well DH is away at the moment! ONE table covered in 'things' is one thing...I just don't know what he'd think about TWO!!
Talking of scrapping, I got another couple of pages done for DD's NYC album..this photograph made me laugh...I could just picture Imane singing at the top of her voice, not caring who was watching!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
Love the black background! I really makes all the other colours pop.
ReplyDeleteMy aunty and my Dad used to take it in turns to get a jigsaw each Christmas, for us all to do. It was so much fun :o) Lovely LO too xx
ReplyDeleteHi Alison, Thanks for popping by. I take my hat off to you. It doesn't look like an easy jigsaw! But how proud you must have to been to get through it. Love the finished result too!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Love your journaling!! Perfect for the photo & what a nice clean layout!! Congrats on completing that jigsaw - that one would have given me a headache...
ReplyDeleteLove the layout of a brilliant photo x
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing the jigsaw. Also love the layout too.
ReplyDeleteNice job with that jigsaw - so much of it looks like its the same colour that it can't have been an easy one!
ReplyDeleteLove it Alison - haven't done a jigsaw for years but used to be as addicted (to other people's) as you!
ReplyDeleteLove the page too - what a great photo!
my husbands just finished a 1000 piece jigsaw, we seem to have them on the go all winter
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh! I LOVE the black background on your page!
ReplyDeleteI love puzzles but my husband would flip if I had to leave one out all the time to finish it, so I don't. Really need to get my own scrap room, then I could have a puzzle corner for when I need more inspiration.
I love all the pink on the black background. I cannot imagine finishing that puzzle in a week, do let your Dad have a go at the next one ;)
ReplyDeleteAnother fab LO about New York!
ReplyDeleteJust curious, how many pieces are in your jigsaw???
I love a good puzzle, great layout x
ReplyDeleteWonderful puzzle! I haven't put one together in years! I spend my time scrapping these days - LOL! Love this LO ~ I just made it my Pick of the Day over at Scrap-Friendzy. :-) ~ Blessings
