DAY 2
I may go back and add some embellishments to the journalling side of each page.
DAY 3
I haven't made my manifesto page yet, but will get to it!
Today I managed to get the main Christmas Tree up and decorated.
I always forget how long it takes to assemble our trees, and grumble all the time I'm doing that part, but I love getting the ornaments out..there are so many memories wrapped up with each one!
Hope your decorating is going well...though I know that some of you wait a while yet before starting.
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
I particularly like your card page,Alison....and the very thoughtful journaling.
ReplyDeleteOur tree will go up this weekend.
Great looking album, and how funny I was just going to say what a fun shot you took of the cards - my fav page I think ..... So far :)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to keep it simple too, that way it might get finished!
ReplyDeletei too like your christmas card page and a very pretty christmas tree x
ReplyDeletePerfect Alison - I agree the simpler the better!!
ReplyDeleteYour pages are wonderful Alison, and I agree with Jacky about the thoughtfulness of your journaling on the cards. I do love having the sun shine on me in December, but i wouldn't be caught dead sitting outside with a cup a coffee ;)
ReplyDeleteYour album is coming along a treat Alison. We normally put our decorations up on the first Sunday in December and it is a job that David and Gracia enjoy. So this year it will change to our new tradition of the first Sunday that Gracia is home which will be the 18th!
ReplyDeleteHi Alison,
ReplyDeleteGreat pages and wow you are super organised with you cards and your tree is beautiful!!
Brrrrr freezing here in Scotland today please send me some warm sunshine, lol.
I love the simplicity of your album Alison! Love your tree!! We're getting ours at the weekend:)
ReplyDeleteClever plan - that way the photos and the journaling both have their own importance. It's looking really good so far!
ReplyDeleteI love the reflection in the table in the photo of the pile of cards - vary artsy and effective. I haven't started my cards yet... shh!
ReplyDeleteI love the looks of your Christmas album so far, Alison. I was really struck by your journaling with regard to the cards you send. Normally I wouldn't understand those feelings, but I must admit to having a few of those "no reason to celebrate" moments myself this year. But the truth is, I do have so much to celebrate even during the tough/sad times - just have to remind myself here and there!
ReplyDeleteI love how your Dec. Daily is so personal!! Love the scene photo!! ~ Blessings
