I have to confess to not even have looked into their bedroom...but given that it's Kirsty's room, it can't actually be any worse than it normally looks when occupied!!
I'm enjoying spending time with them, as I usually only see them for 'flying visits' when I'm in Scotland...mum and dad are enjoying having them here too, as although they see them more often than I do, it's not for as long spells as when they were little.
The older niece is the one who turns 18 next month, and it's her album I've been making...I'm glad to say she has told me she 'loves' it, even though there are still a few pages to do. I'm hoping to get these done over the next few days, and then it will go safely home with her..though I think I'll have to lend her a little case to take back as hand luggage, as it is quite a weight!
Hope you're all having a good weekend..and have perhaps seen a little sunshine?
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
Ha ha, OH went in to clear our teenage daughter's bedroom as it was starting to be a health hazard. We thought she would go mad - nope just pleased she didn't have to do it herself :0)
ReplyDeleteNot much sun here so very jealous but at least it's dry xx
There is a narrow 'walkway' between door and bed in DD's room.....and that is all you can see of the floor!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad she loves the album....but am not at all surprised.
Looking longingly at your pool as it rained heavily here last night and the sky is steely grey today... It must be lovely for you having your daughter and niece around and the evidence that they are, littered about. I am glad your niece loves the album. You sure have worked hard on it. x
ReplyDeletelol! Although so busy admiring your pool i didn't notice the array of stuff around it. Oh what i'd give for some lovely sunshine!!
ReplyDeleteGlad your niece liked her album too xx
yip, babies and men have the same effect in my house. you think your pool is bad...you should peek at my whole house lol. There never seems enough time in the day to pick up after both of them!
ReplyDeleteglad your niece liked her album. It is nice when the recipients appreciate the hard work that has gone into making an album

Lovely pool! I do see the signs of teen here. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're having a good visit!
ReplyDeleteSo gld your niece was pleased with her album. Makes all the hard work worthwhile :o) Very envious of that beautiful blue water!
ReplyDeleteFiona x
Glad she likes it. They do end up being a heck of a weight don't they?! Can you please send some sunshine here - it feels more like mid-winter than mid-summer!
ReplyDeleteWe have indeed had beautiful sunny days (and I did make it to the beach yesterday!!!) I am sure they are enjoying the visit as much as you and your parents are and I had no doubt she'd love the album :0
ReplyDeletehahahahahaha! Teenagers do seem to leave a trail of 'stuff' behind them.
ReplyDeleteThey must be loving their time in the pool and the sun.
ReplyDeleteToo funny Alison! You look like you have very warm summer weather now!
ReplyDeleteThat pool and sunshine look wonderful, wish we could have a little of the sun! I'm really pleased that your niece love the album you've made :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes ... a different vibe to your normal photos! Wouldn't change them though eh?! Glad the album is a success.
ReplyDeleteBarely evidence of teens there - if it were mine, there would not only be towels and sunscreen bottles, but dishes, food wrappers, magazines, shoes, discarded clothing, and more littering that gorgeous pool deck!
ReplyDeleteIt poured here most of the weekend, but your photos have made me feel like there is some sunshine round the corner. Keep on having a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteAlison, just a little note to let you know I am sending you special hugs and prayers today. ~ Blessings from your friend, Tracey
ReplyDeleteLOL! So I should just get used to the messes from my 3 year old since teenagers are messy too :)
ReplyDeleteThose colors - blue and white - are so beautiful and sunny!
ReplyDeleteRinda
I don't think anyone knows the meaning of the word mess until they have a teenage girl in the house! Glad you are enjoying the extra company x
ReplyDeleteOh the life of teens! looks like you had some sunny weather :) Nice to hear she loves the album with those wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I can relate! I have 3 teenagers home and one precocious pre-teen! Can't take the mess to be honest!! But they are fun to have around!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - I know exactly what you mean!
ReplyDeleteLOL - had to laugh at the evidence. Glad to hear she likes the album I'm sure she'll treasure it.
ReplyDeleteLove the mountain view from your pool, and I'm glad your niece likes the album--such a lot of love there!
