Believe me, it was long overdue! DH keeps assuring me that animals don't feel the heat...but how the heck does HE know....she looked pretty hot to me! In saying that, poor Boo doesn't seem any more comfortable now...she has taken to spending most days under my bed, on the tiled floor! She appears out in the early evening and finds some shade in the garden (and drinks the water from the pool!), patiently waiting for someone to take her for a walk when the heat has dissipated somewhat...it's a dog's life indeed!
I couldn't resist the pull of my NEW PAPERS any longer, and made this 'Boo' page
I don't know if it's the very bright natural light here at the moment, but my LO pics just don't seem to be as sharp as usual :(
It fits the criteria for the second Bonus Challenge over at CAMP FRIENDZY, which was to use multiple smaller sized pics.
Hope you're all having a good week!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
My dog Gypsy always seems to have a lot more energy after she's been groomed.

I love the film strip displaying your photos, how did you make that? And a very lovely LO it is!
ReplyDeleteLove the page....it says water and heat to me....perfect chose of papers. And you should see what our dogs chose to drink....or you might prefer not to!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely page for a beautiful pooch. Our dog is short haired and he really feels the heat when the sun is out here ... must be like walking around in a full length fur coat!!
ReplyDeleteCute puppy and cute page x

Wonderful summer layout Alison! Loving the film strip!!
ReplyDeleteLove baby dogs haircut and your cool page!!!
ReplyDeleteI always think the same thing about our girl in the heat .. funnily enough, they seem to know to slow down and take it easy!
ReplyDeleteEven if it doesn't make them cooler (I can't imagine that it wouldn't) it makes us feel better about them. Cute layout :)
ReplyDeletelve the bright yellow and blue together - and Boo is as sweet as ever
ReplyDeleteLovely page. I love the water splotches!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous page - what a ray of sunshine in *our* dreary summer!
ReplyDeleteI saw someone else having problems with their photos so maybe its a Blogger thing? Its a great page and I love the colours especially. I think Boo has a very nice life!
ReplyDeleteGreat layout! I love the strip of pictures and the washi tape.
ReplyDeleteLove it! But you know I do love dogs.
ReplyDeleteBoo looks lovely with her new hair do! Great page, I love it x
ReplyDeleteLovely layout - great colours! Poor Boo!! I think animals definitely feel the climate changes - why wouldn't they?!
ReplyDeleteA dog's life indeed - well she most definitely looks cool. Funny - we were just talking the other day about what our dog used to do to stay cool and lying on tile floors pretty well headed the list. Love the page.
ReplyDeleteIs Boo traumatized by grooming? He certainly looks spiffy and I bet he feels better too.
ReplyDeleteWe have a Maine Coon cat who has lots of long, thick, straight fur--I can only imagine how hot it is! Anyway, we've had him groomed a few times to approximate a short-haired cat (though the groomer got a bit carried away during one trimming so that Slider came home looking more like the velveteen rabbit than himself) but we haven't done it recently because it doesn't seem natural somehow to groom a cat. I do feel for him though during our hot summertime weather!
Really cool design. Love how you incorporated the filmstrip into your composition. Those photos and story are adorable!
