As for me, I'm sharing ten photographs of the flowers that are blooming in my garden today.
Hibiscus rose..thought I'd lost this one this year, due to over-zealous pruning!
I've obviously chosen a good spot for this petunia this year..it just keeps flowering!
The Lantana is a typically Spanish plant and comes in a variety of colour combinations..I'm particularly fond of this one
Alstromeria...I have a few of these, but love the soft colours on this one
Cheery Gazanias
Good old Dianthus (Pinks)
Hopefully this PLUMBAGO will one day cover the trellis!
Am not sure about this one, but I think it may be a Surfinia Petunia?
Geraniums grow well here, as long as you deadhead them regularly
This pretty little Gerbera has been producing a single flower for months now...as soon as one dies, another flower follows, but never more than one at a time!
I'm now off to see what ten things my fellow bloggers have posted ..hope you've enjoyed seeing what's surviving the heat here in my little corner of Spain!
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
You've got a few of my favourites growing beautifully there. I love gerberas, such colourful happy flowers, also I love alstromeria - must be lovely to grow it in your garden. I think our garden would like a little of your sunshine!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers! Hibiscus is really hearty and strong - three hurricanes couldn't kill mine so I think you are fine with the pruning! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat beauty you have flowering over there!! The only thing blooming in our yard & all this heat is the crepe myrtle.
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous! Most of ours seem to be under water at the moment :-(

ReplyDeleteWhat a good choice! They just speak of joy and a happy universe.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!!! Mine are a bit dryer but I have some of the same in my garden here in New York!!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful looking flowers Alison. I'd never seen that shade of lantana before, only the yellow and orange ones. Pinks - I'd totally forgotten about them - we used to have them all the time. Not much blooming in our yard this year except for the daylilies and roses. Think the oppressive heat has just been too much for the rest.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful flowers in your garden :-) Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day, it meant a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see these (and imagine you there in your village). I love alstromeria.
ReplyDeleteRinda

ReplyDeleteOooh, I am jealous of your flowers!!! I am not a gardener at all but the good news is that you have helped me identify a bunch that are in my garden since I moved into this house! Now I have to figure out what "deadhead" them means!!! LOL!

ReplyDeleteFiona xx
I love seeing your flowers!! (since I can't grow my own, I have to garden vicariously thru other people's... lol!)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful plants and lovely photos of them! I knew them all - we have the same ones growing well over here too - particularly the Hibiscus - very typical of Durban - so much so that it is often used as a logo on brands like our surfwear :)
ReplyDeletePlaying catch-up before August's 10 appears - SORRY!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers - especially beautiful when taken in the sunshine.
