One of Kirsty's friends was with us when we found the first two...she was totally bemused by my excitement, and Kirsty tried to explain about my picture-taking 'illness' as she refers to it!
The first opportunity came totally out of the blue..and was one of the pictures I thought may be hard for me to get.......
NUMBER 16- A BRIDE
We were just walking across one of the main squares, when one of the Tourist Buses drove along, with a bevvy of brides on the top deck! Of course, I realise that they are not actually brides per se, but it was too good a photo opportunity to miss!
The second picture I HAD been on the lookout for:
NUMBER 18- A MOVIE POSTER
Of course, no trip to Barcelona would be complete without the obligatory snap of LA SAGRADA FAMILIAR, which gives me NUMBER 6-a historical landmark.....I could of course, have used it for No.17(a church), but will use our local one for that I think.
Now I will concentrate on the items nearer home...I'm now thinking the maze, labyrinth or trail and the pier may be my greatest challenges now, but we shall see.
If you're playing along, which item do you anticipate being the most difficult to find?
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
That fun brides one is just perfect,Alison
ReplyDeletethe brides are fun - and I think i will need to stake out a chruch to find one
ReplyDeleteI think the outdoor stairway might be an issue for me up here, Alison!! :)
ReplyDeleteFAB photo of the brides!!
Allison, this photo scavenger hunt seems so fun! That is awesome! I love seeing your photos. That church is absolutely gorgeous! WoW!!! And the bride photo cracks me up! On a tourist bus!!
ReplyDeleteThose brides are awesome!

My friend's daughter is getting married in August so I have high hopes for 'bride'! Although I cannot compete with a busload of brides! Love the Sagrada Familia, that certainly qualifies as a historic building.
ReplyDeletePicture taking illness - what a cheek!
I think you must win when it comes to landmarks, and those brides are hysterical. What a hoot.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Alison and I love the bride one too.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see the photos you are coming up with for your "hunt!" Your shot of La Sagrada Familiar is simply stunning!! ~ Blessings

Really enjoying your scavenger hunt photographs. The brides on top of the bus are brilliant. What a find! So envious of your sunshine. There was no flaming June, the nearest I have got to it is by lighting the fire... x
ReplyDeleteI love your busful of brides Alison:o) I managed a candid shot of the bride at the evening reception we went to last weekend. I was worried she may have changed out of her wedding dress as seems to be the trend these days, but luckily she hadn't.

I guess I have the same illness as you, although I have not informed my family of the scaveng hunt I am doing! That movie poster is probably the same as the one I will be getting as it is the main one on the bus stops
ReplyDeletegreat bride photo!!
ReplyDeleteGreat captures Alison! I know the bride one is going to stump me unless I get really lucky.
ReplyDeleteOh what a lucky girl you are - I think the bride is going to be my most difficult. I've posted 2 & captured 2 more last night, so I need to get those photos uploaded. Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! The pier would be really easy for me as I am only 10 miles from Southend!
ReplyDeleteIt is JUST stunning. We drove past very quickly many years ago and it was just a big blur. One day...
ReplyDeleteWell done - the brides are amazing - as is the Sagrada Familia withOUT scaffolding!
ReplyDeleteFab piccies, love the 'brides' and of course La Sagrada Familiar is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Estelle xx
Great catch on the brides--and if they weren't brides that day, I'm sure most of them will be one day! Good luck on your scavenger hunt!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos....and I love how Kirsty calls the photo taking an 'illness'...may just be using that line to the hubby when he complains that the camera is pointing at him again lol
ReplyDeleteHahaha - I love that Kirsty refers to your "illness"!!!! Great captures too...
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Alison. That one of La Sagrada Familiar is awesome. Hoping to get started on my pictures today - forgot the camera yesterday - Duh!
ReplyDeleteI think the bevy of brides is a definite winner!
