ONE PICTURE, TWENTY WORDS

Delicious homemade vegetable crisps...parsnips and Beetroot...thinly sliced, dried, salted and roasted in the oven....slightly burnt , but yummy!

Slightly belatedly (!) linking up with ABI at CREATING PAPER DREAMS.

Thanks for dropping by!

Take care of you

  2. I'm not sure about the combination--I have a lifelong "hate" relationship with beets, but I'm old enough to admit that I might have to rethink the beet thing. My preferences notwithstanding...I hope you enjoyed your snack. It looks very appealing.

  3. Parsnip crisps are delicious. They are a great approximation of one of our favourite flavours here - Tayto Chees and Onion

  7. I will have to try this - they are so expensive to buy! You've put together a great photo, a caption and a recipe all in one :).

  8. I've never tried parsnips or beetroot. I must look for some the next time I'm at the Asian market near my office. They have all sorts of interesting produce there! Yours looks yummy!

  9. We bought a crisp maker a couple of years ago... never used it but we have used the mandolin to make great dauphinoise!
