However, today I was walking through the village and ended up approaching the Main Street from a different direction....I saw this mural under the eaves of one of the buildings:
ZOOMING OUT
ZOOMING IN
I discovered it was a sundial, but given it was an hour behind, I reckon it was painted before the clocks went forward!
Hope the sun shines for you this weekend....especially if you are in the USA and celebrating Independence Day !
Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx
That's a great ZIZO - though if I seized the day AND the night as it suggests, I'd be so exhausted I couldn't stand up :).
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you zoomed in, it's such an interesting mural, that I wanted a closer look :)
ReplyDeleteNice snaps, I love sundials.
ReplyDeletewell spotted and I love the idea of seizing the night as well as the day
ReplyDeleteI love its faded terracotta colours..another great example of how using the zoom lets us see lots of new things
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mural . . . wasn't sun dial on the list last year? It's funny how we see new things in old places when we walk different routes.
ReplyDeleteRinda
Great find for ZIZO!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what you see coming from a different angle. It's really beautiful.
