2015 SCAVENGER HUNT

I'm eventually getting around to posting my next finds for the SCAVENGER HUNT, hosted by my friend RINDA

:
1. A bouquet of flowers

Mum's been treating herself to some flowers every week...these were the ones she'd bought when I was over in July

2. An ornate door knocker

the door knocker on our Drop In Centre

9. A tent

there aren't any campsites around here, but I found this one in a shop whilst visiting Kirsty

13. A merry-go-round or carousel

found in a nearby Shopping Centre...tiny, isn't it?

16. A panoramic view, taken while standing someplace high in the air

the view from FONTILLES down to the coast

By my calculations, I have yet to find:

3. A person walking a dog (or other animal)
4. People playing a board game or card game
10. A college or university
11. A cellular tower or television satellite dish
12. A public restroom, bathroom, or toilet
15. A flag pole with at least three flags on it
18. An overloaded truck, car, bicycle or other vehicle
19. A ticket booth
20. A natural body of water
21. A photograph of you with a sign reading "2015 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt".

That makes ten items...I reckon numbers 15 and 19 will beat me...and those three flags are being evasive too!..... Let's see what the next couple of weeks bring.

If you've been taking part, what items have stumped you?

Thanks for dropping by!
take care of you
Alison xx

  1. These are great - I love that little carousel! And, of course, that great view ... I can feel the warmth from here on this chilly September night :). I think I'll have trouble with the flagpole and the overloaded vehicle ...

  2. Glad to hear your mom is treating herself, and she chose a really lovely arrangement. I managed to get them all, but the three flags on a flagpole was the most elusive. I thought the overloaded truck would be really hard, but pulled up behind one back in June---much to my surprise.

  4. Is there not a ticket booth at Alcalali tower?

  5. I'm glad your Mum is being kind to herself.

I do like that miniature merry go round

  6. I struggled with the flags too so I'm hoping what I've captured will do. I can't find a proper carousel anywhere! Glad your Mum is treating herself.

  8. A wonderful panorama and such a cute carousel. Those three flags are proving elusive for me too! I'm glad to see somebody else has quite a few left to find. It was beginning to feel like everyone had finished already.

  10. I cheated on 15 and used 3 flags hanging from a wall but like you am stumped on 19. And have forgotten to photograph the local college umpteen times!
The photos are fab - what a lovely view

  12. I think you may win for the smallest actually ride-able carousel of any post I've seen!

  14. That's a great bunch. I like how your Mum is buying herself flowers. I ended up not finishing the hunt this year but hope to fully participate next year. The funny thing is - I could have quite easily come up with a bunch more pictures - heck I own some turtles and a rocking chair to name a couple.
