Ten on the Tenth

Today I share with you ten plants that are still thriving ....in fact , they are probably happier than they were a month ago, due to the less intense heat we are now having...a bit like myself really!

As you can see, the sun is still shining though, as I said, the intense heat has gone from it. Autumn/Fall is very different, here in Spain, from what I was used to in the UK. There is certainly a change in the temperature (for the good,as far as I'm concerned!)...the early mornings and the nights are colder, but from about 10am to 6pm the sun is pleasantly hot enough to let mum and dad soak up some rays, before they head back to cold, dreary (their words!) Scotland next week.

To see some other 'Ten on the Tenth' posts, pop over to Shimelle's Blog ...you're sure to find something to interest you!

Thanks for dropping by!
take care of you
Alison xx

  3. Glad your Mum & Dad are still with you and enjoying the weather. Your plants look great and I have surprised myself by being able to recognise and name several - most of which are now dormant in my garden.
Our Lizzies all died this year - some sort of awful resistant mildew - going to have to abandon them until the garden centres can get a grip again!

  9. My Geraniums are still blooming, even though (I'm embarrassed to say) I haven't watered them in a few weeks. It's pretty much this time of the year I get tired of all that watering and now that it's Fall I know they will be coming out of the ground soon :(. Your flowers look very well indeed and thankfully they have a reprieve from the heat!

  19. I missed this 10 things on the 10th so it was lovely to see your post with it's sunny shots. It has been sunny here in Essex too, but with a nip in the air. And we put the central heating on for the first time last night. Hope your parents are enjoying their stay, they will notice the change in temperature when they go home!
