And we're off again!

Yes, I managed to our local(ish!) Shopping Centre on Wednesday and got the new ink cartridge I needed to get on with DD's album. Between then and now, I've got quite a few pages completed and am definately 'on the home run'.

The only thing is that I'm about to have to go and remove all evidence of it, as I'm off to pick DD up from the bus later this afternoon! She has decided to come home for the weekend, which would be lovely, were it not for the texts I've received this morning telling me she has a nasty cold....in fact 'man flu' she says! I am SO not a good nurse...in fact I get downright crotchety if either she or DH are poorly and expect looking after. I'm one of those people who would rather just go to bed and be left well alone if I'm not well..and therefore expect my nearest and dearest to be the same!

Anyway, I just wanted to share a couple of the LOs I made. This one is made with MY MIND"S EYE papers,as was required by Susanne's  IN GOOD COMPANY CHALLENGE  over at 'Snaps and Snippets'

This one was for a  scraplift challenge over at SCRAPFRIENDZY

Well...am off to get rid of the evidence. Have a lovely weekend.

Thanks for dropping by!
Take care of you
Alison xx

  3. Glad you were able to spend some more time on the album. I'm just like you Alison - when I'm ill I like to hide away on my own and think everyone should do this when ill.

  4. That striking black background makes a really nice change to all the white ones I'm seeing around at the minute!

I know what you mean - as long as the cups of coffee keep coming I'm happy to be left alone the rest of the time!

  5. Nice layouts. I love the beautiful patterned papers, and you used them so well. I love MME products, just didn't get my buns in gear to get the layout done in time.

  7. I love the pop of pink and orange on the black. I, like you don't want to be around anyone and the Chosen One wants to be tended @@

  14. What absolutely lovely pages Alison. I really, really love the first one. As for being a nurse to the family David is famous for saying to me, during a bout of quite bad illness, "I certainly didn't marry Florence Nightingale, did I?" I am so bad that sometimes, when he is in bed with a migraine I completely forget he is there and don't bother to go and see if he wants anything for hours.

  17. Fab layouts, this is going to be a great album.
Love your nursing comments - I too like to be left alone but if someone else is ill I relish in nursing them, monitoring temperatures and painkillers, cooking their favourite foods and trying to tempt them back to feeling better. For 24 hours. After that my patience is gone and how ungrateful not to be better immediately after all my tlc!
