JYC Days 4-7

This week seems to have disappeared very quickly, but I am just about managing to keep up with JYC.

DAY 4

The day my camera 'died'!

Santa's not-so-little helper arrived in the form of DH, who flew in on Tuesday  to spend a couple of days at home.

DAY 5

The day of the Christmas cake

DAY 6

Counting down to Christmas

DAY 7

A tale of two Christmases

PLEASE tell me I wasn't the only one with a BIG perm!!! ....and forgive the quality of the pics- they are scans of photos which started life
in a non-acid free album! The two photographs are from the same day....there are very few photos of my papa and I together but we had this one taken on the day DH and I got engaged.

Now I'm off to have a look at what everyone else has been up to.

Enjoy whatever you're up to this weekend

Thanks for dropping by!
take care of you
Alison xx

  3. You were not the only one with a big perm - oh goodness, did I have some big hair in the 80s! :>)

  4. Beautiful pages. How nice that Pam bought the cake for you! It's a fantastic cake, I can see how you fell in love with it! And I'm sorry to hear about your camera! I know how you feel. My P&S camera has gone missing and I had just sold my digital SLR. :( I'm loving your pages... especially the journaling. It's so fun to read. :)

  6. I would have had a perm if I'd been allowed one! The row there was the day my sister rebelled and got hers done anyway..

Your album is coming together beautifully Alison

  11. Some great memories there Alison & I love your simple, achievable way of working on this. Your handwriting is also fab!! Nikon have a great back-up service in almost every country in the world. Go online & google the place to send it in Spain & I'll bet they can fix it - they've repaired my D5000 twice. The Coolpix is a great little P&S so it's worth a try. They send a courier to your door to collect & they return & it's very reasonable - ours is thousands of km's away & they did that for me. And I must say that is the most beautiful advent calendar I have EVER SEEN :)

  12. Some really lovely pages, I think you look great with the perm, I was born in the eighties so didn't have the perm, but I did have a terrible bowl cut inflicted on me!

  14. I love that cake, it's gorgeous. You're doing so well with JYC :o) I didn't have a perm, mainly because I hate going to the hairdresser and go as little as possible!
