THE PROMISED LAYOUTS

You might remember that  a few weeks ago  I was at a BLOGGER'S WEEKEND  and that since then have promised to share the layouts I made with you.....so here they are:

This would be one of my FIVE FAVOURITES for MAY.....there is some hidden journalling about a very special friend of mine 

Another one from MAY...Kirsty and her Craig took my youngest niece to the Zoo and had to have THEIR faces painted too!

This will be one of APRIL'S five.....

Another March favourite.....this layout was part of  RUTH'S annual challenge...basically we end up with a collection of the same (or very similar,VERY random)  items and have to produce something with them.

A FUNNY THING HAPPENED............

.....while I was at the BLOGGER'S WEEKEND (well, more than one really, but this was one that involved me directly).

You may remember that some months ago....in February to be exact.....SIAN organised a VALENTINE'S. POSTCARD SWAP!  Well, I only received five of the expected six postcards but didn't bother bothering Sian about it......you never know with the post here!

To be honest I hadn't really given it another thought, so imagine my surprise when JULIE walked in and, after getting herself and her few(!!!!!!) crafting supplies....honestly, you have never seen how much stash these ladies bring with them!.....organised at the table next to mine, she walked around to me with a little package, explaining that SHE was my missing Postcard sender and had just never got around to posting it, but knowing we would see each other here brought it ....along with a couple of other postcards, a notebook and lots of little embellishments! I DID laugh; it was just so totally unexpected and sweet of her....thank you again Julie.


So, just a few(!) months late, here is my last postcard:

I'm hoping to get a post written about what I actually ACHIEVED on the day....in between all that chatting, eating and drinking...in the next day or so!

AT LAST.......

......the promised round up of the BLOGGER'S WEEKEND I spoke about  in THIS post.


The venue was the beautiful Royal Agricultural University in Wiltshire

....not to forget the shared nursing of the divine MISS AVA, two week old daughter of the lovely KIRSTY:

It was lovely to be in the company of such a talented and fun group of ladies.....I did actually get quite a bit done (next post) and feel I have found my mojo ...for another while at least!!
